Jane of All Trades Productions is an independent, female led, Ontario-based production company creating intimate, character-driven stories that reflect the complexity of the human condition.

Our production company was founded in 2024 by long-time friends, Amanda Werger and Findlay Ironside. The two of us met in 2016 during undergraduate studies at Carleton University in Ottawa where Amanda was studying law and Findlay was studying journalism. These respective backgrounds serve both women to this day, and actively impact our individual approaches to filmmaking and storytelling.

Amanda and Findlay are ​ drawn to stories that centre female characters, creators, and/or the female gaze. Collectively our filmography reflects stories about identity, belonging, loss, power, and connection. We are interested in producing films across mediums and genres, and are consistently striving to centre diverse narratives and experiences in our work, and the works of those creators whom we partner with in production.
